With the very low sample flow rate 50 ml per minute, the Capno-5 is suitable for use in a wide range of veterinary patients, including cats and dogs of all sizes.
The VetSpecs® MicroFlo™ capnography uses a highly CO2-specifc infrared source where the infrared emission exactly matches the absorption spectrum of the CO2 molecules, which allows to use a tiny sample cell that permits a very low sample flow rate of 50ml per minute without compromising response time or accuracy.
